Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 14, 2026

CADY Ltd ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the CADY schematic design-rule review service at cadysoiutions.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information in connection with that service, in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 ("PPL") and applicable Privacy Protection Regulations.

CADY's core service processes engineering design files uploaded by hardware engineers and teams, specifically netlist files, schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs), in order to run automated design-rule checks and produce annotated violation reports. This policy is specific to what data CADY actually handles and how.

1. Database Owner

CADY Ltd (Rothschild Boulevard 22, Tel Aviv 6789104, Israel) is the database owner within the meaning of the PPL and processes personal information under that law and the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017. Contact: [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

CADY collects two categories of information:

Account and contact data: When you register for or use the CADY Service, we collect your name, email address, and any billing details you provide. We collect this information directly from you.

Engineering design files you upload: CADY processes the schematic, netlist, and BOM files you submit in order to run design-rule review. These files are your intellectual property and are treated as confidential technical data. They are processed solely to generate your review report and are not used for any other purpose. See Section 6 below for our specific commitments on this point.

Usage and technical data: We automatically collect session identifiers, IP addresses, browser type, and interaction logs (pages visited, review jobs submitted, errors encountered) to operate and improve the Service.

Analytics data: We use self-hosted, anonymised analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. No third-party advertising trackers are used.

3. Purposes of Processing

We process personal information for the following purposes:

  • To operate the CADY design-rule review service and deliver review reports to you;
  • To authenticate your account and manage your subscription;
  • To respond to your support requests and inquiries;
  • To send service communications (security notices, product updates, billing receipts);
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
  • To meet our legal obligations under Israeli law.

4. Sharing and Cross-Border Transfers

We share personal information only with sub-processors (for example, cloud infrastructure providers and payment processors) under written data-processing agreements that restrict their use of the data. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Where we transfer personal information outside Israel, we do so in compliance with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001, ensuring equivalent protection in the destination jurisdiction.

5. Your Rights under the PPL

Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you have the following rights with respect to information held about you in our database:

  • The right to inspect personal information held about you;
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
  • The right to request removal of your personal information from any database we use for direct marketing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Design File Confidentiality

CADY's service processes your schematics, netlists, and BOMs to run automated rule checks. We make the following specific commitments about your engineering data:

  • Your uploaded design files are processed solely to generate your design-rule review report. They are not used to train, fine-tune, or improve shared machine-learning models without your explicit written consent.
  • Design files are stored for the period necessary to generate and serve your report, and for a retention window sufficient for you to retrieve past reports from your account dashboard. Files are deleted from our systems within 90 days of upload unless you have an active account requiring access to historical reviews.
  • Design files are not shared with other customers or disclosed to third parties except to sub-processors strictly necessary to operate the file-processing pipeline, under the confidentiality obligations described in Section 4.
  • Access to your design files within our systems is restricted to personnel and automated processes that require access to run the review pipeline.

These commitments reflect the engineering-confidentiality expectations of the hardware teams CADY serves, where netlist and BOM data frequently constitutes proprietary product design information.

7. Retention

Account and contact data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to allow for dispute resolution and legal compliance. Technical logs are retained for up to 12 months. Uploaded design files follow the retention rules in Section 6.

8. Security Incidents

We maintain the security measures required by the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. Where a security incident requires notification under those Regulations, we will report to the Privacy Protection Authority and to affected data subjects as required by law.

9. Complaints and Contact

If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with the PPL, you may complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority at gov.il/PPA.
